About Dr. Kathleen French

Dr. Kathleen FrenchDr. Kathleen French received her Doctorate of Medicine in 1980 from Boston University. She completed her internship and residency at The John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. During that time she held numerous positions, including Chief Resident Instructor of Neurological Surgery and Research Fellow with the department of Neurosurgery in collaboration with The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory.

She began her private practice here in Fairfax, Virginia in 1988, specializing in the surgical treatment of a wide range of Spinal and Neurological disorders.

She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurological Surgery at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She also holds a faculty position with the John Hopkins University as Instructor in Neurological Surgery.

From 1996 to 1999 she help the section position of Chair of Neurosurgery at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia.
